About Sonia:

Sonia Uribe was born in Bogota, Colombia, home of the best coffee you can find! She then grew up in the beautiful southern state of Texas. While growing up, Sonia realised she wanted to help people understand what's going on in the world around them, so she trained in journalism and reporting.

Even in training, Sonia shone. For example, while still an intern at a CBS affiliate morning show; Sonia appeared as a co-host with former Miss USA Lu Parker. Sonia has style, energy, audience appeal and experience. Sonia's a warm personality, gaining an audience's trust and confidence at once. Her interviewing skills easily draw information from interviewees, and she thinks on her feet, never at a loss for words.

Sonia Uribe lives in London. She attended the University of the Incarnate Word in Texas, for her bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, and the University of London for her master's degree in TV Journalism. For her master's, Sonia was one of only 15 candidates from around the globe to win a place in the course.

Currently she's presenting The Sonia Uribe Files. This production showcases Sonia's journalistic and investigative skills, as she explores the unexplained.
